Team,



Seeing that we've had/will have the Pumpkin drop (Main), lead clinic

(ESN), FAST Training (Flying W) and a few other events in the north

east, I'm contemplating a clinic in VA.  Potentially HWY

(Warrenton/former W66), or Culpeper.   We have plenty of  Ramp space and

should have good weather in the October time frame.  Since we have other

clinics focused on other themes, this clinic will be focused on the

following:

     TAC Formation Training

     TAC Formation Practice

     Formation Flying

     Precision "Carrier" Landing Contest

     K-Kort



The Clinic will NOT focus on ACM.



The schedule will be focused on early brief and the scheduling flights

until light or Because of the type of flying (TAC, etc) there will not

be time set aside for recommendation rides or check rides.  Also, pilots

attending should be comfortable with acro in their airplane and should

have FAST wing or better qualifications.



Preliminary plan is for:

     Friday Morning Early Area and Clinic Safety Brief 

     Friday morning brief on TAC Formation Principles with morning and

afternoon practice.

     Friday Evening Re-Brief on TAC Formation Principles and then Dinner

in Hanger

     Saturday Morning brief on Landing Rules; Contest to be held before

Lunch

     Saturday afternoon will continue TAC Formation and Formation Flying

     Saturday Evening will be dinner in the hanger with K-Kort following

     Sunday will be continued Formation flying and then folks heading

for home.



I'm currently looking for responses on the following:

1.  Pilots interested in this type of event

2.  Dates in October that fit

3.  TAC Formation Instructor pilots available to commit to the event

(with their available dates)

4.  Recommendations for changes to the above.

PS, I'm not instructing this clinic, only organizing and interested on

learning like the rest of us, so it will depend on finding available

instructor pilots.
