Has anyone had the prop lever (middle of the 3 levers) creep and if you lock it down all the time its very annoying since that also locks down the throttle (and mixture). Applying just enough locking doesn't work since to stop the creep also immobilizes the other two....any ideas?
Thanks

That's an interesting observation, I had never thought that the way all levers are on the same locking mechanism, that there may be instances that adjusting another setting could move one of the other levers....
I fly a twin Comanche that has the same set up....all 6 levers locked on the same axis...but never seemed to have that trouble...
I will look again at the set up the Comanche uses and get back with you later...maybe some ideas here...

You could take the spring off the Gov. if you have that kind, but just remember that if your push pull cable breaks that the prop might be stuck in the last position. I have taken the spring off of all mine, that allows me to run less tension on the levers making for smoother operation. Remember if the push-pull where to fail it would be like landing a fix pitch.

I put a very light spring between the govenor [ MT ] and the bracket mount to counteract the strong tension. Works great!
