Here is a good one. I started to replace the vacuum filter on a Tiger and the nut would come off (firewall side). Turns out, since the threads had been stripped, the nut was bonded on with permanent lock-tight. Then, the clamps on the hoses on the inside were those automotive type clamps that are locking. Once installed, they need to be cut off to be removed. This plane also has an in-line filter between the pump and the firewall. Stay informed, get connected and more with AOL on your phone.
