Has anyone flown much without doors? I have been thinking about taking doors off for summer
But wondering how a Series 5 would handle. I know you can fly under 80 mph with dors open
But what about above that speed?

It's a little more windy and noisy...make sure the charts are tied down....And don't do slips!

I did it several times. Real windy and noisy when not straight. Gets cold up there real quick. Plane handle just fine, no problem at all. If you try a slip make sure there is nothing you cant live without laying inside. Conversely if your windshield or overhead skylight blow off that's an E ticket ride.

80kts doors open is OK in an S6. Got my attention diverted once though and probably did 90 kts. Left door fluttered up and down a bit. Small crack in the bubble door which I had not previously noticed. 70-75 kts is more comfortable for me. With door off and straight flight I think you could probably pull typical cruise power without a problem. I have not really flown enough doors off to comment.
