Thanks for the kudos, everyone.
The latest is that the check is in the mail (not sure how much the check is).
SC indicated that the plane would be brought back, but didn't say when.
SC sent pics of the windshield. It looks like the windshield has settled forward into the coving. Not sure why. When I removed the old windshield, there was a lot of clay in the area at the front under the location where the 3 screws go in the front.
The windshield was pretty snug when I installed it. We'll see what happens then I get the plane back. if I get the plane back.

Owner is probably used to slamming the canopy shut real hard and has knocked the hell out of it forcing the coving to spread out...
