I knew the airspeed wasn't right, but I continued the takeoff anyway. Flew around at 15 - 20 mph indicated for an hour, and landed.
Seems that the poly tube supplied by Zenith that was inside the cockpit, under the tinted lexan had deterioated in three years. This plane was always outside on the ramp, but it always had a Kennon cover over it.
Suggest that everyone check the pitot tube tube, and cover it, paint it or something.
