On the taildragger version, are there any recommendations on keeping tension on the rudder cables. Zenith forgot to address this in the manual. After calling them they recommended springs attached to the firewall. I have heard of making a bellcrank with rods attached to the rudder pedals for a counter-balance so proper tension can be maintained. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jeff,
The delicate nature of the rudder hinge points would suggest perhaps the
bellcrank idea is advised. A fixed-geometry would prevent excessive wear
or damage when
standing on the pedals for braking or turning etc. You might have to
place the bellcrank forward of the firewall like the nose geared
steering is done.
