I added false ribs to both the fuselage and wings on my project. Seems to reduce the deflection quite a bit - haven't gotten the plane together yet so don't know about the results in flight / taxi etc.. But the whole thing made me feel better. On the fuselage I went with diagonal brace design ala the Zenith Demonstrator. For the ribs / L braces I went to my local heating and cooling shop - converted the 20 mm sides to inches and had a whole bunch bent out of "dead soft" aluminum stock - thought that I might get even more of the harmonics out with dead soft material. Anybody that wants pics email me.
