hi all, i am in the process of wiring right now. rather than try to decide where to put knife splices for possible future use i have pretty much wired everything permanent , leaving one less thing to waffle about. my plan is to put in a knife splice in if i ever need to snip a wire down the road.

That's been the philosophy adopted by many others
