New medical regs.

  

 Check out the AOPA web site, specially if you're under  40.  In our group I do believe only Gabby would qualify! 

  

 Anyway in a nut shell, 1st class and 3rd medicals get  extended.  First to one year, third to 5 years.  And if your 1st  expires it goes to 3rd class - not 2nd.

  

 They said nothing about the 2nd class.  

  

 There some grandfather stuff.  If your 3rd has expires  and it can become current up the 5 year mark from when was issued and you're  under 40.

  

 A 68 it makes sense to me.
