Hi,
I have a question for your guys.
Is there any chance of stretching the throttle springs on the 912 carbs if you leave the throttle fully closed when the airplane is parked? It seems to me that if you hold a spring at a certain tension over a long period of time, it might lose some of it's tension.
Is that not enough tension on the spring to worry about?
Thanks

Hi Tommy,
I don't think I have ever heard of a spring going bad from leaving the throttle closed. I think most people leave their planes that way. I have had 912's for a long time and not had any issues. I have to say that is one part I have never replaced.
