<?xml:namespace prefix="v" /><?xml:namespace prefix="o" /><![endif]--> Now that I'm about to start on the plumbing, I'm wondering aobut the capacity of the 1/4" fuel lines supplied by Zenith---- Are they sufficient to feed a Corvair engine at full throttle, or should I move up to 3/8" lines? Any consensus out there?

Paul
I used the supplied 1/4 inch fuel lines supplied with the 601XL kit from the wing to a center Andair fuel valve then bradied SS AN-6 to the carb. When tested at the carb inlet the fuel line and facet pump delivered approx. 20 gal/hr into an open fuel can. Both facet pumps performed the same.

Paul

The recommended tubing size for aluminum fuel lines is 3/8". But metal tubes are sold by outside diameter. The rubber tubing supplied by ZAC is sold by inside diameter, so ZAC's tubing is 1/4" i.d., which is about the same i.d. as 3/8" aluminum tubing. The 1/4" ZAC supplied tubing should be just fine.
