No-one has reported the 100F outside temperature test yet....:^)
One option is to completely remove the internal on/off control inside the eyeball and just use the "vent" push/pull knob for flow control.
This should get you much more air flow, but does sort of negate returning it....
The part is a hard plastic material (ABS?) that is formed in a 3D forming machine (also called rapid prototyping) - no molds involved.
