I have a 701/912/amphib with a warp three blade which has given me good
service for over 500 hrs. I adjust the Warp at 8.5' for general flying and
10.5' for long Xcountry flights. I'm thinking of trying an Ivo in-flight
adjustable to eliminate the required changing of pitch.
I've read some negative comments on the net concerning Ivo propellers and
wondered if anyone has had good results with 912/Ivo combination?
Please reply on the list or directly to me.

Carl,
Here is a link to the Airmaster Props: http://www.airmasterpropellers.com/
It's main page has a quote from Michel Beuffe G
It looks like he has a CH701 with this setup. You might try to see if you can get hold of him for input.
I have thought about the IVO props also, but I am a long ways away from that stage right now. (but I am always looking)
Good luck,
Keith

I have an opinion on the IVO prop that started from information from someone I trust and was supported from some online study but I'm not going to voice it.
BUT, and it may not matter to you, if you install the inflight adjustable prop your aircraft is no longer LSA compliant EVEN if you set it up in a way that the ability to adjust it in flight has been disabled. I got that in writing (well e-mail) from a FSDO.

I have a 601HD, with rotax 912 ul 80hp, and the light IVO inflight adjustable.
I fly from a field elevation of about 5000' msl. On takeoff, I can get full rpm and climb 1000' fpm easily. Cruise at 5200 rpm gets around 90 mph. Bring the prop into coarse and I can get 105 mph. I use a different brush set for the prop, its available from http://www.sportplanellc.com/
This is not an endorsement, but it has worked well for me.
