Hugh,

  

 Yes, I did seal off the key hole on my fuel  cap.  I will be at the hangar tomorrow and will forward the exact name of  the material I used.

  

 Yes, I did contact Allegro about the black  particals, but they reported no trouble on any of their planes.  I'll keep  studying the situation and will let everyone know if I find a  solution.
