Hi all C  I have a leak on my brake cylinder on my Avid C when I would push hard on the brake I get a drop of fluid dripping on the tire.  When I checked it C I found a small crack in the casting where the bleeder valve screws in C probably got tightened to much.  If anyone has a good one they don't need and want to sell it C please let me know.  Kitfox and Avid both used the same kind.   thesupe(at)hotmail.com (thesupe(at)hotmail.com) or 1-218-254-2404  Thanks C  Jim Chuk  Avid CKitfox C  MN

Jim -- I had the same crack appear in my cast aluminum puck housing. The threads are tapered, and it's easy to over-tighten the fittings causing the crack. Matco has discontinued the cast housing and replaced it with a very nice machined unit. It has the same hole placements as the original cast type, so it's an easy swap. I bought new pucks, puck housings, fittings and brake lines for a quite reasonable price from Matco.

After I place the wanted add C I called Matco C (which I should have done first)  and the new casting was only $25 so I ordered one.  It will probably show up today.  Jim Chuk  Kitfox 4 building C Avids flying.  Mn

Is this the same Roger Circle that was featured in Sport Pilot years ago.
