Possums- I just looked at the photos you posted. What is the overall length of your main fuselage tube? It looks a little shorter than usual.

I cut a few inches off the tube, but my tail area is bigger the than yours.
Be careful when you do that.
The shorter the coupling (distance between the main gear and
the tail wheel) , the squirrelier the plane is.
