I was fitting the ribs to the elevators and thought I was short two. After a call to John at Kitfox, turns out the measurements as to where to locate the ribs on the elevators and HS have changed. He said the way I have it is fine, except for one extra rib. If you have not epoxied yours in yet, you might want to call them to get the updated measurements.
