Hi Gang:
John W and I spent a day flying some of the back country strips in Idaho,
May 2008. These photos were taken by John W.
This one is at Upper Loon Creek, Idaho. That little airplane is N101AB and
me on left downwind for 22. This is the first strip we landed.

That's 101AB landing at Bernard Creek, Idaho. It was rough and dusty.

The wind blew like this for three days. John W spent an hour trying to
catch the needle when it hit 55 mph. No, we did not fly in this wind. We
hunkered down at the airport at Ontario, Oregon.
