Y'all;
Using a round rod to go from axle socket to axle socket is fine as long at the rod, which will have a slight bend in it due to the camber set in the axle sockets. If the rod isn't 90 deg. from the floor depending which way it is tilted you will either get toe in or toe out. If it is out of plumb to the rear you will get toe in, tilted forward you will get toe out.
Just a thought.
