The bellcrank and other inspeciton panels have #6 standard nutplates at the corners. You might consider replacing these with single wing nutplates. When the standard nutplate gets damaged there , the rivet on one end is under the skin there. It changes an easy repair to one which requires some finesse. BTDT.

Interesting... just as I finish putting the skin over them. Of course, it shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't damage them - so curious minds want to know, what happened? Just a mis-thread with a power driver or ?
