Tommy,

I sliced open large diameter auto heater hose and made landing gear spacers, for top and bottom of gear.
They have been in place a couple of years and no signs of deterioration.

Hi Chuck,

My original rubber spacers for the gear were opened large heater hose.

It didn’t work for me. Perhaps I was over torquing the nuts. Roger said to just tighten it to “firm”….

I prolly don’t know what firm is.
