Articles involved for rivets sizes
Standard Practices for Aluminum – AN470-d-l == diameter – length
Example:
Standard Practices for Aluminum -- AN470-4-4 == 4/32" (1/8") dia by 4/16" (1/4") length
Standard Practices for Aluminum -- AN470-4-6 == 4/32" (1/8") dia by 6/16" (3/8") length
Construction Standards by Zenith Aircraft Company Draft Edition (01/16/07) == page 27 of 42 CS#402 is stated as AD???-l-d ( length - diameter == the opposite of the Standard
701 plans = page 7F9 (cabin side), their documentation is AN470-4-4; AN470-4-5; AN470-4-6 I am assuming it follows the standard, and are meaning 1/8" rivets with different lengths.
Can some 701 builders look at their cabin sides and see if all the rivets are 1/8" (to the best of their ability, since the rivets are already driven)
Also, should somebody point this out to Zenith?
Guess I should also try to find a newer version on their website.
