Friends and builders,



It is with a heavy heart I have to report the loss of one of our own. 

Ken Lien Crashed his corvair powered 601XL yesterday. There were no 

survivors.



He spent 4 years working on it and I spend a few hours in his hanger 

chatting him up about it.  He was a skilled pilot and builder. His 601XL 

is what inspired me to build and use a corvair.

I went by the crash site and took several pictures with my cell phone 

before they started removing the debris.



It's sad day for experimental aviation.
