<?xml:namespace prefix="v" /><?xml:namespace prefix="o" /><![endif]--> Jim C. My Felix prop-- almost every year at inspection time -Prop needs refinishing. account of
some sand and small rocks here. Most of the pits are on the back side. So Would sanding off to
bare wood and putting 1 layer of 1.4 oz. fiberglass and West System just on the back side help?-Gordon

This stuff won't keep the stone pits away but it works nicely for regular prop finish.
I got mine at the hardware store.

<?xml:namespace prefix="v" /><?xml:namespace prefix="o" /><![endif]--> Thanks Lou----Looks good. I have used J-Weld on the leading edge over
the epoxy. Just on the front 3/16 or so. Sanded and then put it on and wet sanded and it
is holding up good. Gordon

Putting fiberglass on won't help much, it will still chip. Sand it down
some, fill the stone chips and coat with a couple of coats of West. Jim
