Alvin, by all means DO NOT REMOVE THESE SPRINGS,,,,,,,,,, you may want to contact Jon Croke from Homebuilthelp.com and have him tell you what has happenned doing this. He crashed his 701. I'm sure he will be happy to tell you what he's done about it.

Hi Guys
My 701 engine speed will increase if I don't hold a firm grip
on the throttle..It does not stay where it is set. Is there a solution..
I thought of taking out the springs on each carburetor which opens
the throttle to release the pull back tension any suggestions would
be appreciated.
On the CanZac floats..I did not receive a reply from Mark Townsend
on My floats ordered on Feburary 7th and promised for May 15th..
I will cancel this order as I don't think there is a chance of getting
floats from CanZac ..If you need a set of floats I suggest you look elsewhere
for them..My whole summer float flying season was not available because of it.
Zenith Aircraft said they have been aware of this problem with Canzac
for more then a year..They are looking at a float kit you can build yourself.
