My 1994 fabric manual shows bending a couple very small aluminum plates at each end of the butt rib and place fabric around them and the butt rib. Has any one come up with something different. A couple pictures would be great since I'm stuck in the imagination department.

I couldn't understand the manual instructions so just epoxied flat (not bent or curved) aluminum plates to the butt ribs so that the fabric could be attached to that so it seals up the cabin.
What I just wrote sounds almost as confusing as the manual.
These pictures are probably worth only a hundred words not a thousand like the saying goes. The only way to really figure out what to do here is if you can find a finished Kitfox to look at.
