Back to you folks,
Ready to wire up mu CH 701 with a Rotax 912 ULS. Simple system, ignition, electric trim, battery, no lite or radios. Have the Rotax drawings but that's as far as I've been able to nail down
Who has a system diagram showing what I need to do - as usual have preconceived ideas but always open to suggestions.

Phil,
I see you got two electrical configuration responses that are very different; the Zenith recommendation and a very very simple one. There are a few basic considerations when deciding upon a electrical system including what electrical components you want to eventually have, how much you want to know about what's going on inside your electrical system, how much redundancy, and what safety features you want. You can have the stuff used in GA aircrafts such as excess or shortfall information regarding generated voltage, an automatic generator cut off for very high over-voltage situations, and an essential buss to turn on only the things you absolutely need if you loose the generator. I have attached a diagram of the system I installed, which was designed by Bob Nuckolls at Aeroelectric Connection (http://www.aeroelectric.com/). It is complex, but still simpler than most GA systems, . Bob runs seminars about this subject and really knows his stuff. However, I am not recommending this approach if you want to keep to really simple. The choice is yours...
Rgds,
Les
