All,
The Lightning newsletter for October (Issue 1-9) should be posted now at the Lightning web site:
http://www.flylightning.net/
I sent it to Pete (and Jim Langley) this past Sunday for posting. I think Pete may still have been out of town then, but it is probably posted by now.
This issue covers the recent Lightning "homecoming" and annual fly-in at SYI as well as the standard updates on factory, dealer, and builder flyer news. Look for a special feature by Dick Cleavinger on one of his recent flights in Colorado. You will also be able to see the very first newsletter "Centerfold" of the month which should help to make this issue certainly a "collectors edition". Or not.
As a side issue, I often have trouble calling up the latest newsletter immediately after it gets posted (I have no idea why) so if anyone has any suggestions for this computer "challenged" operator, I would like to have some suggestions.
Here in the southeast, October is generally a great month for flying weather, and this year seems to be no exception. Hopefully everyone is enjoying it and will have some interesting flights to write about for future issues. I may be the exception to that as I "over G'ed" my back and am still having pain just going about daily activities. Oh well, thanks for pain killers. Please continue to send in articles or information that you would like published. It is a great way to share ideas and help other Lightning builders and flyers.

Looking Forward to reading it Buz.
Also to the group just because we are real excited about it. We all know what the tip extensions were designed for specifically and I can tell you that we are now deeply seated in testing and documentation for that…Look for more detailed info at the Sebring event.

Hi Buz, great newsletter again. I was especially interested in your performance graphs with the extended tips. Do you have a comparable set without the tips, same aeroplane, same weights, similar atmospherics for comparison?
