Does anyone know the resistance of that filament/line wrapped around the canon plug that screws into the back of the CHT gage? Or better yet, what exactly that line is? I accidentally removed that "string" when I disassembled the plug and went to solder a detached lead. Haven't been able to get an accurate cht reading.

Not a clue as to the resistance, but in my last load of parts from China were seven factory new CHT leads of the CJ6, they are 7 feet long have the cannon plug on one end and the two (staggered) connectors with screws for the CHT probe on the other end. Hand engraved on each the connectors is 9.66, rather this is the resistance value I do not know. I do have the matching CHT probes for these leads.
