Okay, fellows, I found the problem!



Some how I clicked on a message, don't know which one, and sent it to the "Don't ever accept mail from this source again, ever" bin.



Mistake....must have mis-clicked.  I killed all Matronics List stuff.  Didn't affect anybody else...I continue to get all the "Fwd" political junk from a friend whose feathers I'd rather not ruffle.  



Took some time to find the problem.  The Earthlink system allows several hundred entries in the "blocked source" file, and it was the last place I looked.



Good to go now, so re-start the "Red ScotchBrite" discussion!
