I dont rember who posted the article about the R-V vent's , I ordered a set ,made them up and installed in my XL. They are the best ! the very best ,not to mention the pair only cost $18.00. I dont remember spending $18.00 on any for this airplane that worked any better, and made me any happier., going to use the other vent's to go up to my dash and cool every thing under there. Thank's again !!   Joe N101HD

There is no part number; it is identified as Vent Sidewall Kit (2
rectangular vents).
If you have a catalog or go online at www.vansaircraft.com its on pg 80.

That's where mine are located. Do you have cable pull's or you just flip
them open? Joe N101HD

There seems to be enough friction to hopefully keep them closed during flight so I just left them as flip no cables.Did put a little handle on the lever [a piece from a fishing reel bail arm] Cheers

I've sat in a Zodiac HD in Czech and it had this type of vent installed opening to the front. It was actually mounted to be just ground or taxiing cooling vent. It worked great and I'll install them too for sure. It is hot here in California sometimes.
