List:
There has been talk lately about where to put the static port for the
airspeed. I have been flying without a static port on my 701 and my
airspeed is within 2 mph of the GPS.
I recently installed 3 1/4" pop vents in my side window. Today when I
popped opened the vent, I did see a small 1 mph change in the airspeed
indication. This is close enough for me so I won't be worrying about
installing a static port. Of course I only have the basic steam gauge
package from Zenith and no VSI.

PS - My wife helped rivet the plane and now she is enjoying riding in it
too. So far though, she has not wanted to take the controls.
