Has anyone installed an Aircraft Extras Fuel Guardian Sensor?

If so, I would be interested in understanding where you mounted the sensor on your tank.

Thanks,

Bob

I did Bob, attached are a couple of photos. In my basement I placed the wings at their proper dihedral angle (I think is 3 degrees, so 1.5 degrees per wing, could be wrong)
I then filled up the tanks with five gallons of fluid and marked that point and drilled the hole.
In light to moderate turbulence the lights will come on with 10-12 gallons in the tank from time to time.
If the lights come on they flash and then you can push the switch once and it will stay solid on, and the second time resets it and turns the lights off.
Pretty nice system.

By the way, that measurement is from the bottom of the wing even though it looks like it is from the top. My wing is upside down in the picture with the measurement and then right-side up with the installation completed.

Hey Bob, I did.  I went through the whole setup trying to get the wings in the proper flight orientation, using a water level, and putting in I forget how much water to mark the spot on the tank to put the sensors. There should be something in my kitlog on exactly where I put it and the whole process. I would look it up but I’m about to walk out the door.
