Quote: | For Buz C From the Colling's Foundation direct to you. I thought you might recognize some things (minus the GPS cradle) I can just imagine 35-40 years ago a picture similar to this black and white C with a younger guy in a flight suit climbing out. He was actually a former AF crew chief. Still working on the plane to keep it airworthy. Brian W. | Want to read Hotmail messages in Outlook? The Wordsmiths show you how. Learn Now

Brian,
Impressive - brings back lots of great memories. Who actually owns and flys this one?

Buz C
This plane is owned by the Colling's Foundation and is based here in Houston. It is an F-4D and I don't believe that it was ever converted to a QF. It is flown by a few different retired military pilots. This one is painted to resemble that of Steve Ritchie and Charles DeBellevue. The CF also has a flyable Huey C TA-4J Skyhawk C S2 Tracker C F4 Corsair C B-17 C B-24 C B-25 C and the worlds only P-51C that is dual controlled. When I lived in Florida where they did a lot of maintenance on their bombers they also restored military vehicles for them. The had a Willies C Halftrack C and German searchlight. Once the engine is replaced this will once again be a regular flier at airshows. I have C unfotunately C only been around to see her fly once. It was pretty impressive though and even in the air you could tail the size difference from the F-16's that I usually see. Brian W.
