Did everyone notice in the latest KITPLANES that the price of the 912S is
now $24,000.00? WOW! They really DO love that engine. I first thought it
was a typo until I read the editors column and he mentioned it also with the
comment "What are they thinking?" I bet there are a lot of unhappy people
and manufacturers out there.

I thought it was a typo when I first saw it.

I love my 912S, but I would make a different choice at this point. -
entirely because of that price.

That's about $10,000 more than I paid for my 912S last 3 months ago. Has to
be a typo.

Lockwood lists the 80hp at $12793 the 100hp at $14354 and the 914 115hp
turbo at $24300.

If a 912 series engine is going into a certified AC then the certified
engine is thousands more. Clint

I am pretty sure the 912S (Certificated) engines are required for Special Light Sport Aircraft.

As an Rotax OEM and just ordered several 912 ULS engines I can assure you
that is not correct for the 912 ULS... The current 912 ULS pricing is
$14353.00
