Hello everyone, this is my first post.

i am considering buying a built Europa, it ticks many of my boxes. Anyone have any experience with the taildragger version (not the monowheel), but a standard 3 point configuration.
I understand its approved in the UK?

Does it make the aircraft even more short field capable? Any other differences?
thank you
roger

I have a Europa XS Taildragger. It is for sale. I can give you plenty
of feedback. I am very happy with it now that I have learned how to
land it so smoothly.

Roger

The tail dragger using the "swiss" mod is approved by the LAA in the UK as "This aircraft only". This means that you will not obtain permission to start an new one. You can buy a second hand aircraft (incomplete or flying).

Their are other tail dragger conversions (the Flyer version and the US (Bob Berude)). The Flyer version might fly one day but when is unknown. The US version is unlikely to be submitted to UK approval due to the costs and work involved.

If you would like to discuss further give me a ring on 01483 714096

Roger,

I am in the USA and am building the Bob Berube version. I am not flying yet but have heard a lot of good things about it. I've attached a pix of mine during the build.
