Well, to save a few bucks I'll be making my own seats ... Thanks Jeff from www.ch601.org for posting your pic's and ideas on the subject, and as always Larry Mcfarland for all your help with examples (and for my custom radiator louvers!!).
I see that some of you guys use standard car seat covers over your custom foam seats ... I shall do the same because I cannot sew (great idea). But as for the carpet for sides and floor (and baggage area), I'm having a hard time with this. I know it should be lightweight, avoiding foam padding that could deteriorate over time, but I'm having trouble finding a good local source for this. I think standard auto carpeting would be good, with its typical insulating material under it. I'd be more that happy to use that in all those areas (and maybe without insulation for baggage area) but all I can find on the Internet so far is preformed carpet for specific makes and model cars.
Has anybody found a good source I can order from online? Hopefully some company that has various colors and web pic's to look at etc etc.

Kevin,
I got my upholstery fabric, backer foam sheet, carpet and an plastic upholstery board from Airtex Products, Inc.. I think I ordered on the web, but their phone no. is 215-295-4115. They mainly sell high-end stuff, but they will also sell small quantities. All their stuff is made for airplanes.

Thanks Jay!! I went to their site and like that they have sample pic's. I'm sure I'll be contacting them sometime soon to see what pricing is like when I have my measurements ready.
