I do not know how much weight the painting of an RV 10 will add but it will be alot. I primed my F1 Rocket and weighed it and each coat of primer was 6-8 lbs. Paint and clear coat will no doubt add as much weight per coat. An F1 has a smaller fuselage and only 100 square feet of wing compared to the RV 10 with 150 square feet. Paint has its appeal but does not come without penalty. A real show quality paint job has a large weight penalty. My guess, car quality, 60 plus pounds. The fellows who have done it and know, don’t like to share too often.
