582 Drivers C I am rebuilding a Mod 3 that was originally equiped with a 912 that I am installing a 582 in. the plane has strobes C nav lights and a radio. I fear that my lighting coil will not put out enough power to handle all those electrics. I remember seeing a set up for an auxillary alternator belt drive off of the prop hub. C maybe from CPS C I don't know. I remember that it seemed to cost 3 X what I thought it should. Anyone out there have experience with one or have designed one yourself.

My brothers 582 is pulling nav lights, radios, GPS, 3 strobes, heater and intercom with no issues. The wattage does not add up to that much. You can pull 170 watts with the 582 lighting coil.
