I quiet know well his type of carburetor , as they are equipping my rotax 912. And jabiru’s motors
In the past, on the 2200 jab of a friend , we were confronted to the same problem you talk about.
As you said Tracy, problem was coming from the position of the floats.
When you hold the carburetor upside down, the level of the float must be absolutely parallel to the edge of the carburetor .
You can correct this easily by bending smoothly the little piece of metal that will control needle movement.
If your motor is brand new, check also if your needle is really clean .. we also have had problems with extra small parts of rubber coming from fuel hooses,
Stuck by temperature and impeaching good movements . No way to see it at first sight .. and too small parts for the filter …!
Good luck !
