Falcon Insurance (AIG) is requiring us to get one hour dual instruction with a CFI. The pilot is a 25,000+ hour gentleman pilot who has flown many types of planes including many experimental RV's and is widely regarded as an exceptional pilot. We need this so the 40 hours can be flown off my newly finished Lightning. The dual would need to be done in your Lightning because we are still in the 40 hour test phase. Insurance will not cover him in my plane without 1 hour with a CFI. We are in Hagerstown, MD. Please call Austin or Pamela Heffernan (at) Royal Aircraft Services 301 791-3642 if you can help. Thank you.

It really isn't that cold up north that time of year,
heck I rode the
motorcycle to our old hanger on several occasions in
December...14 layers of
cloths but not to bad! No I did not have studded tires.

Okay, the messenger has been shot enough! <grin>
I'm well aware of how cold
it is in MN, why do you think I'm not going!! (Actually
it's Clare's
birthday that weekend)

Our Jabiru dealer in MN put this together to help his
customers and possibly
attract new customers by helping them get over their
"concerns" of glass
panels. He asked me to help spread the word so I did. I
will tell you
though, when he mentioned it to me this weekend my first
thought was "holy
crap, it's cold in Minnesota in December!!!"

Have a great day!!

Mark

You know Charles; a cheap ticket to Nashville, and short car ride to Shelbyville is an easy way to get some transition time in the Lightning. I actually flew down for the day after setting up some time with Nick and spent several hours with a very good instructor, (Nick).

It was well worth the trip, satisfied Falcon, and avoided potental problems.

Jim,

Thank you for the kind words. Yes anyone who needs time is always welcome to come to Shelbyville and get what they need. Just let us know when you want and I am sure we can schedule it.
