Skidmk,
Do you have any T-6 guys around? They can show you how to do the valve
adjustments. There are some gocha's with adjusting the valves. Getting a new
set of valve cover gaskets will save you from an oil bath. A good rubber
mallet helps to when reseating the valve covers.
Some of those tricks are not found in the YAK or CJ TO manual. Having
someone around with round motor experience will help allot. Even if it is
Wright Pat and not a Housia or M-14.
You could always hire Dennis to come up and do a maintenance class. You'll
learn a lot about your aircraft.
Honestly, I can show you how to do the valve adjustments much as Dennis
showed me how to do better than I can describe the process on the web.
Seeing it is worth a thousand words.

Wasn't the valve setting proceedure in the Red Alert a while back?
