To all,

I'm in the process of updating and filling in the blanks of my spreadsheet.

We're trying to list everyone's first flight and quite honestly I don't
always write them down when we do them here and sometimes we don't hear
about them until days or weeks after they happen. Either way please send me
the date of your first flight.

Also, the same goes for N-numbers. I have quite a few but again I would like
to fill in the blanks. Even reserved numbers count!

I'd like to do this for as long as possible. It's nice while we're a small
community that we can have this type of contact with our customers. Of
course when we grow to the size of Van's it might be a bit more difficult
but I'll cross that bridge when I get there!!

Have a great day!

Mark

Hey Mark: If you do not already have it, I have no idea when N13LN made its first flight. I believe it was about a week or two before the weekend get together in Shelbyville in late Sept.

Hi Lynn,

Yours is one of the few that I have - 8/20/08.

To everyone else - maybe it's in your airframe or pilot log book??

Have a great day!

I don't know. Did you actually fly it or was it along the same lines of "did we really land on the moon"?

Super! Somebody likes to fly about as much as I do. Good on you, Dick - 150 hours in just over a year. I racked up just over 500 in less than three years.

Hey that "moon landing" idea may be something that Nick likes to do. Katie sent me a photo of Nick in Bear's jet which shows him on final approach to the moon. I will publish it in the December newsletter.  Now how is that for a "teaser" for the next newsletter issue. Might even be better than the past centerfold issue.

Well, I hate to admit it, but you may be right. Don't tell anyone, but the wives of numerous Lightning builders have secretly written me to get their own personal copy of you in the "center fold issue". They are using such words as - WOW, HOT, SEXY, HUNK, etc. Well, you get the picture. You were a hit. Any interest in doing twelve poses so we can publish a "Mark, the Lightning Hot Calendar Guy"?
