During the course of restoring my CJ, I stripped and removed the original Chinese paint. Gear wells and other appropriate areas were repainted before final assembly. Now I’m planning to have the aircraft repainted in the spring of 2009. Does anyone have a really fast and good method to remove the last bit of paint that is remaining around the circumference of some of the rivet heads? I plan to do as much of the prep work as possible before dropping it off to a paint shop.
