Hi all,

I'm not an A&P (or AME), however I've built 2 planes, and do lots of maintance on my cars etc.

Question,, I want to "clean up" the mags, ie. carbon tracking
Also, I would like to learn how to "adjust" the exhaust valves

Is there somewhere I could read up on this?

Thanks

Sooo, Inquiring Minds want to know about Maintenance eh? Good! Go to the RPA website, find the Online store, go to Manuals and locate the different packages of tech articles that I have written just for inquiring minds. It will cost you a few bucks of which I receive no payment other than a neat hat, shirts and stuff that Blitz bribes me with from time to time. Never mind that I need to update some of the articles but I'll get around to-it when I feel the urge.

You also can use the resource that you are already using... as in, the YAK list. If you search the achives you will find many good posts on adjusting valves, setting up mags, and all manner of other things. Not to take away from Craig OR the RPA... but you would be amazed at what you will find right here, and it's free.
