I am finishing the construction of the mid-fuse -- the last gasps of Section 29, which seems to be longest section in the whole building process. This section calls for 4 spacers to be cut from AT6-058-5/16 at a length of 1-11/16" each. The only portion of this material I can find in the fuse kit is listed on the inventory sheet as being used for "flap push rods", and is only 9 inches long. I haven't found a reference for this material in the wings manual, so I am wondering if the inventory description is an error, or if the 9 inches provided is enough for both requirements. I used some of this same material (though nor sure WHERE I found it) for the W-1031 aileron bell crank spacers, but I don't remember whether there was any more left from which to fabricate the spar spacers. Does anyone remember having trouble finding this material or whether it might have been missing from the kit?

I was short one of these and needed Van's to send me another one. They told me I was the only one that had this problem, guess now it’s both of us!!
