Well, after doing a lot of research I'll definitely be shining my airplane using the Nuvite system. I also found an excellent step-by-step manual for Sonex owners that is a good "how to." www.sonexaircraft.com/documents/instruction_sheets/nuvite_polishing.pdf
For anyone in Canada interested in polishing 6061, there is an official supplier in Toronto and he gave me excellent help - so I'll pass along his coordinates fyi:
