I thought I'd post the results of the overnight test. I applied a 10" x
1" piece of the 3M tape using the 'wet' method. Let it 'cure' overnight
and today I peeled it off ........ along with some of the clear coat and
the base coat !!!!!
So. conclusion, although the tape itself when you peel off the backing
paper doesn't feel super sticky to the finger touch. If applied
following the instructions it appears it has plenty of adhesion
strength!!!!!

Thanks for the feedback from others

Is that tape supposed to be an "install once, never replace" tape,
or what do they market it like? Do they have a removal method
that wouldn't do that?
