After reading the article in Kitplanes by Sam Buchanan, I got interested in

this system. (see

A buddy had a license so we installed the equipment ($300) and have been

trying it out. I was so pleased with the results that I took the test for a

Technician class ham license and now have my own call sign and moved the

transmitter to my aircraft. Pretty neat. You can log onto the internet and

see the location in real time.
